The Monday grind...more driving, interviews, and dinner....

Monday was back to CSC work....

After a very long drive on Sunday, we loaded back into the car bright and early on Monday morning for another three hour trip back to Nairobi..... not fun but worth it.

We were lucky enough to score an interview with the CEO of Safaricom - Bob Collymore.  The Bill Gates of Kenya...

Safaricom is Kenya's largest mobile phone service provider and a local success story with a solid presence in many universities across Kenya and a reputation for corporate social responsibility.  The input Mr. Collymore provided was both direct and relevant to the current status of MMU.

After the interview ended, back to Nyeri we went.

Jit catching a few zzzz's on the way home....

Our teammates spent the day with Kimathi University - a similiar outreach day to our Allamano School visit.  They did a Smarter Planet presentation and did some team building activities with students.

We ALL gathered for a team dinner in the evening.....that was a nice treat.  It has been awhile since the entire team gathered for an evening meal.  Generally, some chose to stay behind and work or retire early to bed for an early morning start.

Cheers and beers with the team......our official CSC time together is quickly coming to an end.
