Day 1 in Nyeri....

Up and at 'em early today.....

A run with Felicity, Tamara, and Claudette provided my first up close and personal look at Nyeri; and we had our own cheering sections through some parts of town :-)  Although we had a great run, we also had the unfortunate opportunity to see someone get hit by a car....that was bit unnerving.  Although the woman was injured, she was able to sit up.

The rest of the day was a "work day".  We expected to have our first full day of being connected with heads down  to the grind......sort of.   Internet connection is random and certainly slows the pace of things ....and meals are a two/three hour event - even at lunch.   Pizza take out here we come.

The hills of Nyeri will make for some strong calf muscles...two trips into town in one day and I feel the pain :-)
