Another day bites the dust....

Hard to believe we have only been in Kenya 4 days ....my team mates made the transition so easy......

Traffic jams are lightened with stories of drivers asking us(who have been in the country a total of 4 days)for directions and long days are wrapped up over Tusker beers shared by stories of lost thongs from our Australian friends that left the Americans laughing hysterically.....until we figured out thongs are flip flops in Australia.  I may be a bit biased, but my vote goes to Kenya 6 for the best CSC team ever ;)

Tuesday started with a visit to the IBM Kenya office.  The Kenyan IBMer's have been incredible to work with .....sharing tidbits about the culture and making us feel incredibly appreciated and welcome.

Second half of the day was spent interviewing professors at MMU; another fascinating day.  Everyone is so enthusiastic ....its contagious.   Fun fact of the day:  the University has a baboon problem....they cause all kinds of damage across the campus.  That was problem which our team of IBMer's had no advice to offer :)

Days are long....but always filled with something we haven't seen before.

Tomorrow we leave for Nyeri.....a two/three hour trip outside of Nairobi.  We will spend the remainder of our time in Nyeri until final presentations occur in our last week.  I think our time in Nairobi may have spoiled us.....

The weekend brings a hike of Mt. Kenya for five of us: Felicity(Austrailia), Claudette(US), Tamara(Australia), Nadia (US), and myself.   Completely psyched for that climb.....I can't wait!
